I finally FINALLY have the money for my camera, and it is sold out.
So now my gift cards are being carefully stored and a website being stalked until it comes back into stock.

(yes, these cameras are sold everywhere but the specific camera/lens deal at one particular retailer is extremely good, and unfortunately I have some gift cards from them to make up my funds, so the waiting begins)

Ah, so it's the gift cards that screwed you, a little bit. I usually shop Adorama for camera stuff, their gear bundles are usually a pretty good deal.
